“Humic substances are an integral part of the diet of pigs, cattle and poultry. In their natural behaviour, pigs dig in the soil in search of food, chickens scratch the ground and cattle graze. Humic substances are continuously absorbed here and are therefore a completely normal part of natural food intake. As our farm animals can no longer follow this natural behaviour and are instead fed on compound feed, we have to add humic substances to this feed in order to cover the animals’ native requirements. We do this with our Humigut products.”
