WH67® stimulates positive bacteria and reduces pathogenic bacteria in the intestine

A recent study on humans has investigated the influence of WH67® on the bacterial flora in the intestine. The subjects took humic acids capsules WH67® in a period over 45 days. On day 0, 11, 31 and 45 feces samples were taken and selected bacteria analyzed. The results of the study show that WH67® significantly increases the number of positive bacteria (chart 1). Furthermore, pathogenic bacteria are significantly reduced (chart 2).Therefore, Mrs. Prof. Krueger concludes: “We see positive effects in the subjects’ faecal microbiota by taking an oral supplementation of humic acids.

WH67®EG02 prevents from piglet diarrhea

WH67®EG02 prevents from piglet diarrhea Every diarrhea destroys thousands of intestinal cells, which cannot completely be rebuilt, even if the nutritional treatment is optimal. As a result the nutrient absorption is considerably restricted and the animals’ performance can be negatively affected. It is scientifically proven, that in calf rearing every diarrhea will cost 2.000 to 3.000 liter milk yield per lifetime lactation. Keeping in mind that the average milk yield in a cow’s life is about 20.000 to 30.000 liter it amounts to 10 % losses – for every diarrhea! Based on this knowledge diarrhea in suckling piglets can have a dramatic impact on health and performance and it should be considered as of great importance. The question is why do 2-3-day-old piglets suffer diarrhea even if they receive colostrum? In addition, why are there so big differences between the individual sows and brood?

Humic acids in animal nutrition

We can explain - Humic acids are a very valuable resource, which can have a number of positive effects in the organism. We at GITES want to introduce some of the application areas in which they can have a preventive and supportive effect. In the naturally-occurring humic acids in animal nutrition, high molecular, chemical compounds are formed during the degradation process of organic material by "humification". In other words: everywhere in nature we encounter them as the products of organic substances being broken down. Humic acids are even present in small amounts in products such as peat, bread crusts and coffee. Why are humic acids valuable? Humic acids have the ability to tightly bind pollutants in the body of the animal itself. Since they are not absorbed by the body and also cannot get into the bloodstream, the body is able to bind toxins, which are excreted by the gut before a damaging effect may occur.
